Key Features:

  • Inventory Tracking: MMIS enables granular inventory tracking down to site/location/shelf and bin levels, with every material movement transaction recorded for audit purposes. Inventory condition and value can also be monitored, and barcoded items can be registered in the system for easy identification.
  • Inventory Analysis: Users can store inventory criticality and lead time data, perform economic order quantity analysis, monitor reorder points and minimum stock levels, and associate failure rates and mean time between failure data to each inventoried item.
  • Maintenance Planning: MMIS facilitates strategic planning and execution of scheduled (PMCS) and unscheduled maintenance through its Workflow system. Preventive maintenance schedules can be created and applied based on customizable triggers, and field service representatives’ maintenance activities can be monitored efficiently.
  • Workflow Management: Standard workflow operations can be assigned to parts entering the depot for repair, with condition code and status recorded for each work-in-progress item. Performance metrics such as Repair Turn-Around Time (RTAT) and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) can be calculated, and documentation such as shipping and receiving forms can be attached to each work order for reference.
  • Remove and Replace Procedures: MMIS logs every remove and replace procedure for future reference, enabling root cause analysis and defect trend identification. Engineering changes, training requirements, or process changes can be presented to stakeholders via Failure Review Board processes, with MMIS managing the incorporation of those changes.
